Bollywood babe Alia Bhatt recently revealed that she cannot vote in the Lok Sabha Elections as she holds a British passport. According to India’s rule, a person cannot cast vote if he/she holds dual citizenship. Alia Bhatt can only cast her vote if she gives up her British citizenship. Recently at the chat show Alia Bhatt revealed her party Symbol ‘Plate’.
On ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, when Alia Bhatt was asked about what her election symbol would be if she were to ever form a political party. To which RRR beauty responded saying “My election symbol would be a plate”. When she was asked about the reason behind her answer she said that there are a lot of “chamche” in politics, but there are no plates.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is on the board to play the female lead in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming directorial venture RRR in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Jr NTR will play the lead roles. Alia Bhatt is paired opposite Ram Charan who will essay the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju where Jr NTR is playing Komaram Bheem. The movie is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment and is scheduled to hit the theatres on 30th July 2020.
Alia Bhatt is also the part of upcoming Bollywood movie Kalank and is busy in the promotional activities. Kalank, is produced by Baahubali presenter Karan Johar and is all set to hit the theaters on 17th April. The movie also features Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sanjay Dutt.
Alia Bhatt will also be seen in ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor in which Akkineni Nagarjuna will play the cameo. Apart from them, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role and the movie Brahmastra is known to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format.
