SS Rajamouli’ RRR is progressing at the brisk pace in the extravagantly erected sets in Hyderabad. Mega Power Star Ram Charan and young Tiger Jr NTR are on the board to play the lead roles. Recently Rajamouli shot few crucial scenes on Ram Charan and Jr NTR. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rajamouli has acquired vintage cars on rent spending a bomb. Rajamouli is going to use the vintage cars depicting the 1920s events in RRR.
Bengaluru based businessman, Ravi Prakash is popular for collecting vintage cars and giving the same on rent. It is heard that before starting the shoot of RRR, Rajamouli contacted Ravi Prakas and paid him huge amount to get these vintage cars on rent for his film.
Rajamouli’ RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, is a fictional story based on Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, inspired by ‘Motorcycle Diaries’. Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn have been roped in RRR for prominent roles. While Alia Bhatt will romance Ram Charan, British actor Daisy Edgar Jones has been paired opposite Jr NTR. Tamil actor Samuthirakani will play a crucial role. Ajay Devgn will play the role of freedom fighter.
Set in the 1920s pre-independent India, the entirely fictional story is based on two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, both legendary Telugu freedom fighters from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively. Interestingly, Rajamouli stated that the inspiration for RRR came from the Hollywood classic, The Motorcycle Diaries.
Rajamouli has also confirmed the news that six months will be given to VFX work, post shooting.
Rajamouli’ RRR is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments on a budget of Rs 350 Cr, is scheduled to release worldwide on 30th July 2020. MM Keeravani is on board to render the tunes and KK Senthil Kumar is handling the cinematography.
