Kannada hero Sudeep is also the part of Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. According to the latest update, Sandalwood actor Sudeep in facing legal troubles now. On Tuesday, the Chikkamagaluru JMFC court issued a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Kichcha Sudeep and director of Kannada TV show Vaarasadara, Mahesh.
Deepak Patel, a resident and owner of a coffee plantation in Chikkamagaluru had petitioned the court and alleged that Kichcha Sudeep and Mahesh had cheated him of Rs 1.5 Cr after damaging his ancestral property for the shoot of television show Vaarasadara.
Sudeep was failed to appear at the court on 26th March 2019 for the hearing, so the court has issued non-bailable warrant for his arrest. The court has given the police time till 22nd May to produce Sudeep and Mahesh before it.
Deepak Mayur Patel, the owner of the house and farm estate, has now issued a statement that during the shoot, a large part of his coffee estate was damaged. When Deepak Mayur informed the actor and his production team to pay for the damage, they ignored it so he filed case against them in the court. He alleged that Sudeep’s production house Kichcha Creations owes him Rs 1.5 Cr for destroying the plantation in the course of a shoot.
According to Deepak Mayur Patel, Kichcha Creations had sought permission from him to shoot the TV series Vaarasadara in his estate, to which he had agreed. Sudeep agreed on a rent of 1.80 Crs but the owner was given only 50,000. Deepak said that after the shooting, they left the destroyed coffee plants. They also destroyed several old trees.
In 2017, Deepak Mayur Patel approached the Chikkamagaluru SP Annamalai, and filed a complaint against Sudeep and the production house.
