Samantha Akkineni is one of the most famous South Indian celebrities in India. All thanks to the heart-winning performance and cute look! She has crossed 6.2  Million followers  on Instagram and each post of the actress does get a mammoth number of likes and comments.  It is known news that several companies are branding their products on the social media through celebrities who act as their brand ambassadors. Samantha is also earning money through influence marketing, a strategy by which top celebrities send out promotional contents through their social media pages.

 Generally the celebs charge around Rs. 2 or 3 lakhs to post about the brand on social media. But, Samantha Akkineni is one of the actress, who has been charging around Rs. 15-20 lakhs to post on her social media pages on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.  She often promotes these brands on her social media feed. In 2017, Samantha was appointed as the ambassador for Telangana Handlooms by the government of Telangana and currently works to promote handloom textiles in the state of Telangana.

Samantha has also been involved in a few controversies, for voicing her opinions through Twitter. Following the release of a promotional poster for 1: Nenokkadine  in December 2013, Samantha criticised the depiction of Kriti Sanon crawling behind Mahesh Babu on the beach, who looks back at Kriti disapprovingly. Samantha  Akkineni tweeted that the poster was “deeply regressive” and stated that it was offensive by makers to depict the women like animals

On the work side, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming movie Majili, in which she will be seen sharing the screen space with Naga Chaitanya. The movie is arriving at the theaters on 5th April.
