Pawan Kalyan to contest from Gajuwaka constituency

Earlier there was a buzz  that Jana Sena  Chief, Pawan Kalyan will contest either from Anantapur or Eluru or one of the Assembly Segments in East Godavari District. Now according to the latest update, Pawan Kalyan is going to contest from Gajuwaka constituency in Visakhapatnam District, which his actor brother Megastar Chiranjeevi’s erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) candidate won in 2009. Pawan Kalyan has got a good fan base in Vizag which is the main reason he has chosen this area.

The party insiders say it is already decided that Pawan Kalyan  will contest from Gajuwaka segment in Visakhapatnam city limits and  this decision was taken during the meeting of Jana Sainiks recently. The news is unofficially disclosed by some top sources in Jana Sena party.

Gajuwaka, an industrial belt, is dominated by the Yadavs  and Kapus, and they are likely to support Pawan Kalyan, who is quite popular in the area.

On the otherside, Nara Lokesh is going to contest from Visakha District. He is planning to become the Legislator of Visakha North Constituency. This time, the TDP (Telugu Desam Party)  is making all efforts to win the seat.

According to Visakha South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, the northern segment is dominated by districts which have urban and educated voters and they will be drawn towards Nara Lokesh. P Gana Babu and V Ramakrishna Babu, the Vishka West and Visakha East MLA said that the party would focus on Visakhapatnam with Lokesh’s entry in the city.
