Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ upcoming directorial venture Lakshmi’s NTR has become the talk of town. Ram Gopal Varma is planning to release the movie on 29th March at any cost. According to the latest update, Lakshmi’s NTR producer Rakesh Reddy told the media that the Election Commission (EC) has cleared the film for its theatrical release, after he assured the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee that the film was not made to hurt anyone’s emotions. However, the Election Commission (EC) has also informed the makers that they may have to appear for a scrutiny if the movie creates any issues after the release.
Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter and shared a video of Rakesh Reddy and wrote, “Line Clear For Laxmi’s NTR Movie Release | Producer Rakesh Reddy Meets EC.”
Ram Gopal Varma is confident of the release of his film ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ and recently he also gives hints at the possibility of a biopic on KCR. Earlier, the Telangana High Court cleared the release of Lakshmi’s NTR and dismissed a plea seeking a ban on its release before the first phase of elections.
Lakshmi’s NTR, a biopic of late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, comes in the wake of a series of political biopics that have dominated the early part of 2019 in Telugu cinema. RGV emphasised that Lakshmi’s NTR will begin in 1989 when Lakshmi Parvathi entered the life of NTR. Recently during the media interaction, Ram Gopal Varma also said that Lakhsmi’s NTR would also show the events that led to the coup at Viceroy hotel in 1995and what caused NTR mental trauma and led to his decline and demise.
Recently Ram Gopal Varma also shared a photograph of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with his grandson Devansh flashing a victory sign on his Twitter handle, and captioned it, “Watch Lakshmi’s NTR this 29 to know my truth with your entire family”.
