Rajamouli about RRR : I follow different strategies

Ever since SS Rajamouli made the epic blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion,  he has become one of the most wanted directors of our times.  Currently he is busy in his upcoming movie RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace  in Hyderabad. The movie has Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles. Recently Rajamouli interacted with media and opened up about big budget entertainer RRR. He  also talked about his promotional strategy for RRR.

 Rajamouli said, “I have decided to not reveal the basic story of RRR before its release. I follow different strategies for my directorial ventures. I am not going to reveal anything about the story of RRR unlike what I did for Maryada Ramanna and Eega.” It is known news that earlier during the making of Maryada Ramanna and Eega, Rajamouli had revealed the basic plot lines but this time he is not ready to reveal anything regarding RRR.

 Rajamouli further said, “I will talk about RRR at an appropriate time.” He also confirmed the news that RRR will be slated to hit the theaters in 2020.

We have already reported that recently Rajamouli attended the prestigious Harvard India Conference 2019, where he spoke at length about his filmmaking style but he was tight-lipped about RRR and believes that the film should surprise the audience. Though he said, “RRR is a pan-Indian film because the nature of the story is like that.” When he was asked whether RRR would be a fantasy film like Baahubali, Rajamouli replied, “Ah don’t ask me about the film.”

Till date, Rajamouli did not make official announcement regarding its female lead. Ever since RRR went on floors, there have been rumours about the plot. Producer DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainments earlier disclosed that the film is being made on an extravagant budget of Rs 300 Cr.
