According to the latest update, Tamil Rockers leaked Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial venture Petta on torrent sites. As the full movie has been leaked, the different qualities are now available for free downloading.
Rajinikanth starrer Petta which has hit the theaters today received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics. Petta does not have anything fresh to offer, but the superstar Rajinikanth’s vintage styles have connected well with the audience.
As Petta has been leaked on Internet, it can affect the business of the movie at the box office. The movie lovers and Rajinkanth fans are requesting the people not to encourage the piracy. Though the makers tried to prevent the movie from being leaked online, their efforts went in vain as the illegal copies made it to the internet.
Earlier, movies like Race 3, Maari 2, Seethakaathi, Adanga Maru, Aquaman and Odiyan , 2.0, Sanju, Udta Punjab, Great Grand Masti and other movies have also been leaked online which affected their overall box office performance at the domestic market.
Rajinikanth and Shankar’s recent movie 2.0 was also hit by piracy.
Petta is a mass-masala movie helmed by Karthik Subbaraj and is produced by Sun Pictures. Trisha Krishnan, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, M. Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, J. Mahendran and Guru Somasundaram are playing the supporting role. According to the traders report, Petta has collected $450,525 from 223 location from USA Preimer. The trade analyst Jeevi shared the collection figure of Petta on twitter as he wrote, “Hourly gross of South Indian films in USA at 6:25 pm PST on 9 January: #Petta (Tamil+Telugu): $450,525 (223 loc).”
