Nani ready with First Treat, he joins the celebrations

Natural Star Nani is getting ready to impress the audience. It is known news that currently Nani is busy in his upcoming sport based drama Jersey. And now his first treat of this year is on the way. According to the latest update the makers have decided to release the teaser of Jersey on the occasion of Sankranthi on 12th January. This news is confirmed by Nani himself.  MCA fame actor said that he was also joining the festive season with Jersey teaser.

Yesterday Nani took to his Twitter and wrote, ”All the Sankranthi releases I’m sure have made the festive mood more exciting so we thought why not join the celebrations #Jersey Teaser on January 12th @gowtam19 @ShraddhaSrinath @anirudhofficial @vamsi84.”

Shraddha Srinath of U Turn fame is on the board to play the love interest of Nani in Jersey, which is directed by Gautham Tinnanuri and is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.

Earlier,  Nani had expressed his desire to star in a sports-based film on the lines of the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal and now his dream is being fulfilled as he will be seen playing cricketer in this sport base drama Jersey.

According to the latest reports surfacing, Jersey will be set in a different time period. The sources close to the film unit reveal that  the timeline of the film will begin in the year 1986 and end in 1996. What happens during this decade forms the crux of the plot of the movie.

Nani is playing a character called Arjun in Jersey. The film tells the story of Arjun who realizes his skill at a certain age and hence pushes himself to realize his dream of playing for Indian Team.

 Nani was last seen in multistarrer Devadas, directed by Sriram Additya, in which he shared the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna.
